The definition of Nocebo is "a detrimental effect on health produced by psychological or psycho-sematic factors such as negative expectations of treatment or prognosis."
I want to discuss the power of the doctor's diagnosis over the patient, and the power of the patient over the diagnosis, especially as it relates to cancer treatment.
