FREE Movie for YOU

“Bought” takes a deep dive into the business of Big Pharma, the controversies with vaccines and the truth about GMOs in America’s food supply.

This movie was free for a one week time period during the Spring, but I think it asks some good questions for us to ponder, so I actually bought the rights to distribute this freely for YOU.  Please enjoy.

This movie addresses and raises questions regarding vaccines.  I will say that I am not “pro-vaccine” or “anti-vaccine” as I can think of times when a particular vaccine should or should not be given.  What I am ALWAYS about is asking the right questions for each particular situation.

The same goes for foods, drugs, herbal supplements, conventional western medicine, holistic / alternative medicine, etc.  You have the right to the truth and be empowered by the facts in order to make educated decisions about your own health, food and medicine. Because we all have different genetic susceptibilities, what affects one person in a certain way may have a different benefit or consequence in another person.

Obviously, just the word “vaccines” is an emotionally charged subject for many people.  I encourage you to watch this movie with an inquisitive mind, love in your heart, and think about all the ways the people with an opposing view point are doing good, as you are, by doing what they believe.  Good science and data should be the focus of issues like the ones presented.

“Bought” has some highly educated people raising certain questions and what I would call multiple information bombshells.

Live with love.  Be informed.

Hope you enjoy and feel free to pass this free viewing along.

3 Questions for Sleep

1. What color light is best before bed and why?

Yellow, orange and red wavelength light (NOT blue or white light) is best before bed because these wavelength do not inhibit melatonin production which is essential to help us fall asleep.  Even just a couple seconds of blue or white light can shut off natural melatonin production for the entire rest of the night.

2. Why are stages 3 and 4 non-REM sleep so important?

These are the stages where healing, repair and rejuvenation of the body occur.  The mind likely starts to convert short term memory into long term memory in this state also.  Stage 4 rejuvenating sleep is achieved during deep sleep about 2 hours before midnight, which is a crucial point.

3. List some healthy sleep recommendations.
  • Sleep with all-natural bedding to avoid off gassing of unnatural toxic substances.
  • No exposure to blue or white light (ie computer, TV, phone) before bed so as not to shut off melatonin production.
  • Magnesium can help to calm the nervous system and aid sleep.

  • Avoid EMF's as much as possible by turning off all electronic devices (ie. computers, phones, TV, etc) and sleeping as far away from EMF producing devices that can't be turned off.
  • Minimize stress and thinking before bed.  Read book by candlelight or low watt orange/yellow/red bulb.
  • Last meal eaten at least 2-3 hours before bed so that the body is focused on sleep and rejuvenation rather than digestion.

  • Clean bedroom with good airflow.

Enjoy the video below - feel free to pass it along....and I hope you enjoy healthy sleep!

Baby Photos Last Week & My Sleep this Week

Actually, Kalaya is rockin’ it and typically sleeping throughout the night with only one waking to nurse, which Sonia does.  So I’ve been pretty fortunate with the sleep as of late.  Pretty dang good.  I gotta say that right after she was born though, Kalaya sure was putting the hurt on me with some great sleep deprivation training.

Did you know… an interesting study shows that the average American sleeps just 6.1 hours per night.  Are you kidding me!

Did you know… that Americans sleep approximately 2 hours less per night than in 1900.

80-90% of visits to the doctor are rooted in psycho-sematic causes (i.e. anxiety or depression).  Just wondering what would happen if everyone were getting 2 more hours of sleep per night.

Sleep, oxygen, food, movement, mindset… these are some of the cornerstones required to live a life full of VITALITY.

Enjoy the video!
