A Tale of Two Chips

Recently, someone gave me a bag of chips (obviously, as a joke ;), specifically Doritos Blaze, and being the health-minded person that I am, I decided to investigate the ingredients to see if there is any "real food" value. To give equal time to all sides, I compared the ingredients in Doritos Blaze to the ingredients in a "healthy" chip, i.e. Jackson's Honest Purple Heirloom Potato Chips. What I found was shocking, but not surprising.

Don't get me wrong, I do LOVE chips, but I do my best to consume healthy alternatives when it comes to snacks. As most people do, I want to enjoy what I'm eating, but I want to make sure it has good nutritional value. When we are consciously aware of what we are putting into our bodies, then we are on the right path to maintaining a healthy lifestyle.

Check out my blog video below to get the shocking results! As always, feel free to pass this along!

Free Talk + Free Gift + Feldenkrais Method

Dr. Anne Kuo will be giving a FREE talk about Stem Cell Therapy on Wednesday, March 14 at 6 pm. You don't want to miss this! Why?

Anyone who attends will receive a free Magnesium Spray valued at $39 to use on painful or spasm spots.

If you have any joint pain, especially of the knee or hip, or if you have lung-related health issues, I strongly urge you to attend. We will answer a lot of frequently asked questions about Stem Cell Therapy, such as what it is, how it works, the healing benefits, how long treatment takes, potential side effects, and much more. Answering these questions helps to clarify how much you can really expect to heal from Stem Cell Therapy and what it actually does, and reveals exactly what type of Stem Cells you should seek out...with no "sales fluff" or fiction, just research. You can also get more info on Regenerative Medicine and Stem Cell Therapy on our website here or on a previous blog here. Another excellent resource is the free docuseries The Healing Miracle: The Truth About Stem Cells.

We had a wonderful community event last month with Luz Ugalde on the Feldenkrais Method (review my blog from 2/1/18 here) with lots of great learning and energy. You can schedule an appointment with Luz for just $45 (a great deal!) to get to know the healing method more in-depth. Luz can be contacted by phone at 661-733-7925.

I hope you have a great week, and as always, feel free to pass this along!

The Brain is a Poet

Reuben, Oxygen Therapy Director at Oasis Family Medicine, recently attended the Learning & The Brain conference in San Francisco, where the topic was how brain health and cultivating creativity in brain function leads to innovations in society.

As if we did not already know, the latest neuroscience has shown that the brain biologically evolved to interpret sensory stimuli through story narratives. The better the story, the more we respond to the environment we are in and the people we come into contact with.

The Brain is a Poet, weaving stories of compassion and inspiration that transform sensory impulses into meaningful moments, becoming memories we cherish forever.

Join Reuben on Monday, March 5, 2018 at 6 pm as he shares how  NeuroFeedback Therapy can help give voice to your inner Poet.

Seats are limited, so click here to RSVP.

I hope to see you there, and as always, feel free to pass this along!
